Friends, thank you for joining me, and thank you for electing me as your Representative in District 65. I want to share what is most important to me as your Representative.
What Matters Most
First, and foremost, I believe in the sanctity of life and that all lives are valuable. From the unborn to the elderly, ALL life needs to be protected.
As a veteran myself, I believe we should work to take care of our veterans and honor their service and sacrifice to our great nation.
I believe that marriage is between one man and one woman, as God commanded it to be, and that strong families equal a stronger North Carolina. I believe we need better funding for our schools to provide more opportunities and safer environments for our children, and I support school choice.
People are safer when they are well-armed. I believe in upholding our constitutional rights, and will defend our Second Amendment rights unapologetically.
Small businesses and the great people who support them are the backbone of our County. I believe in lowering taxes for everyone: individuals and small businesses.
Educators handle the most precious resource in our nation: our children. I support competitive pay for teachers and state employees, so that we can continue to attract the best talent in order to provide our children with a stronger future.
Where your taxes go and what they are spent on matters. I believe we need to be more diligent about balancing our budget and spending taxpayer funds wisely to ensure a strong North Carolina for future generations.
I support Voter ID laws. I oppose illegal immigration and amnesty, and I believe that we need to support our local law enforcement as they keep North Carolina safe. For this reason, I have received the endorsement of the Police Benevolent Association and Sheriff Sam Page.
Let’s face it, folks. We need more common sense in our government.
Friends, I truly appreciate your support as we help shape our local government together. I believe that together we can continue to achieve great things in Rockingham County, and, in doing so, continue to keep North Carolina strong, secure, and prospering for years to come.
